How do we arrange an international shipment?

In general, an indirect air carrier arranges air transportation of property using an air carrier rather than operating the aircraft. TSA regulates covered indirect air carrier operations under 49 CFR Part 1548. The term does not itself establish a company's authorization or TSA approval.

What does indirect air carrier mean?

We assess documentation readiness, carrier capacity, routing, and destination requirements. Human remains shipments may require death certificates, transport permits, and consular documentation, depending on the route. Departure and arrival estimates remain subject to acceptance, clearance, and carrier schedules.

    What determines shipment timing?

We coordinate shipments from most US cities through major airports and seaports. We review destination access and carrier availability for each inquiry. Human remains transport is arranged by air; ocean options serve vehicles, personal effects, and containerized cargo.
